StandUp for Kids – Tucson is so grateful for each and every donor, volunteer and organization that has joined the mission to end the cycle of youth homelessness. Every minute, every penny and every conversation is an investment in the life of a child in need. Help us help them!
THANK YOU 2023 Supporters!
Ricky and LaMonte Hunley not only personally donate to our mission but have attended events and intentionally share our stories throughout the Tucson community. In the battle against youth homelessness, these two brothers are fearless warriors!
The Centurions are a charitable organization that supports nonprofits of Southern Arizona. In December of 2023 we received a much needed and very generous donation of $5,000 to support our mission and our kids.
Danny Hagen is our “cook on call” providing top of the line cuisine for our youth at occasional events. He arrives with a smile and friends to help serve.
In addition to providing our entire nonprofit community with the amazing opportunity of participating in the Jim Click Millions for Tucson raffle, Mr. Click goes above and beyond with surprise support to nonprofits just for showing up. He is a pillar of generosity and full of positive energy that just makes everything better.
Pima Federal Credit Union boosted our 2023 StandUp and Move goal and pushed us across the line with their generous donation of $10,000! This is in addition to a faithful PFCU employee, Georgina Beattie, who donates treasures for the center throughout the year.
The employees at Building Impact in December 2023 purchased 80% of our Amazon Wish list and made Christmas unforgettable for many at-risk and homeless youth in Tucson.
For over 10 years, Diane Arnold and the Corpus Christi Quilt and Outreach groups have tirelessly responded to the needs of our youth in overwhelmingly giving ways. Not only do they provide outreach supplies on a quarterly basis, they have also helped with furniture for youth who move from the street into their own apartment. During the holiday season they provide Christmas gifts, have adopted families, and have made, with their own hands, Christmas stockings for our youth. Each year we update them on our youth and each year they respond with “what else can we do.”
It is a wonderful thing to have support from young people in our community dedicated to helping peers in need. Thank you to Tucson family volunteers, St. Cyril Youth group, The Gregory School, Our Mother of Sorrows Confirmation, and Kappa Alpha Theta at U of A for your creative giving.
