At StandUp for Kids, our board members bring more than professional expertise, they bring passion, purpose, and a deep commitment to creating brighter futures for young people. One of those leaders is Natalie Q. Hogg, a longtime supporter of our organization and a dedicated advocate for youth experiencing homelessness and instability.
Natalie is CEO and founder of Method Q and co-founder of Evermore Village. Through Method Q, she Applies the Scientific Method to MarketingTM and advises growing B2B companies on revenue-focused marketing strategy, bringing scientific rigor to marketing and translating AI-era buyer behavior into actionable GTM plans.
A self-described “fintech payments nerd,” Natalie’s expertise has personal roots—her grandfather was part of the team that built the infrastructure for direct deposit at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in the 1970s, helping launch what would become the ACH system processing 30+ billion transactions annually.
Natalie has worked with StandUp for Kids since 2020, and over time, her commitment to the organization has only deepened. She currently serves on the Board of Directors as Chair of the Marketing Committee, where she helps shape our messaging, strengthen our brand, and ensures our mission is clearly and authentically communicated to the communities we serve. In addition to Natalie’s dedication, many of her employees have followed suit by stepping up to volunteer their time on various projects.
“I sought StandUp for Kids out on purpose. I’ve seen firsthand how the right mentor at the right time can change the trajectory of someone’s life. I’ve lived it — specifically for me between 16 and 22. That’s what StandUp for Kids does. They find kids in the years that decide a lot, before adulthood and through the early years of it, and they show up for them with mentorship, food, housing, and the belief that someone is in their corner. What keeps me coming back is that this organization cares enough to slow down and do the work right. They want every kid in a one-to-one relationship with someone who’s paying attention, because that’s what actually keeps a kid off the street. Kids who get cared for grow into adults who care for other people. I’m proof of that math.”
Committed to serving with intention and integrity, Natalie has completed United Way’s VIP training program through the Young Leaders Network, earning certification to serve effectively on nonprofit boards. This training, combined with her professional expertise and genuine passion for youth advocacy, makes her a powerful force for good within our organization.
We are incredibly grateful for Natalie’s leadership, creativity, and unwavering commitment to Stand Up for Kids. Her belief in the power of mentorship, opportunity, and community helps ensure that the young people we serve are not only supported, but truly seen.
Thank you, Natalie, for standing up for kids and for using your voice, vision, and leadership to help create lasting change.
