StandUp for Kids – Washington, D.C.

This past holiday season, StandUp for Kids – Washington, D.C. distributed in-kind donations totaling about $2,500 to twenty-five youth. StandUp-DC asked each youth to list one item they wished to receive in each of the following categories: essentials, school/work-related, and fun. These gifts will support each youth’s mental and physical well-being, as well as remind each youth that they are valued and matter.

“StandUp for Kids – DC was so excited and grateful to partner, once again, with Building Impact to make the 2022 holiday season just a bit brighter for the at-risk youth in Washington, D.C.,” said Heather Holmes, StandUp for Kids – DC’s Executive Director. “We thank Building Impact for their continued support to our youth, especially during a time of year that can be difficult for so many.”
