Volunteer Training

Want to make a difference in our kids’ lives?  Come join us at StandUp for Kids – San Diego as a volunteer!

We are looking for Outreach Center Volunteers who are passionate about helping San Diego’s homeless youth.  Our Outreach Center is open for homeless youth 5 nights a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.).  If you are available on one of those nights, on a weekly basis, we would love to have you as a volunteer!  We are also looking for a Saturday Supervisor, and an Assistant Executive Director.

All Volunteers must be 18 years or older and start with 1) a background check as we are working with at-risk youth, and 2) in-person Training.

StandUp for Kids – San Diego is holding volunteer Training sessions on the 3rd Saturday of the month, from 12:30pm to 5pm.

Q2 2024 schedule:

• Saturday, May 18th, 2024
• Saturday, June 15th, 2024

Our Training takes place at our Outreach Center, located at 741 11th Avenue in downtown San Diego.
