Mentoring Nights at StandUp for Kids – San Diego are more than just another evening—they’re a lifeline. They’re a chance for youth experiencing homelessness to feel safe, supported, and seen. And at the heart of every mentoring night is something powerful: you—our volunteers.
Our volunteers help lead strength-based activities, serve warm meals, facilitate workshops, and offer encouragement that can change a young person’s path forever. Whether you’re welcoming youth with a smile, helping set up, sharing your skills in a workshop, managing social media, or stepping into a leadership role—every action you take helps rebuild trust and hope.
We are currently recruiting for:
- Mentors
- Workshop facilitators
- Set-up/clean-up teams
- Social media storytellers
- Leadership roles (Marketing Coordinator, Outreach Lead, Mentoring Coordinator, Fundraising and Events Assistant)
Just a few hours a week can make all the difference. Your time = someone’s turning point.
