VOLUNTEERS!

There are a number of things that you can do and many ways that you can get involved with STANDUP FOR KIDS. First of all, we have an extensive and dynamic training program that gets you ready to work with the homeless and street kids. About 20 hours of jam packed "action filled" street stories, do’s and don’ts, and role playing. And, this is all free!

We know that not everyone wants to be an Outreach Counselor OR work hands on with kids. So, like other organizations, we too have many positions that need to be filled that require many different levels of leadership or expertise. There’s a great and challenging place for you! One that is rewarding and meaningful!

If you want to work "hands on with kids" we ask for three to four hours per week. Most other positions require between one to two hours per week.

We know that your time is valuable. So, please know that your time and assistance is greatly needed and very much appreciated.
