2003 Awards

By the Numbers

As you can see we continued to grow in 2002, we're extremely proud of the many accomplishments achieved by the volunteers, supporters and sponsors.  We've set our sights even higher for 2003.

We have great expectations for this year. With your help, we can achieve it all. Become part of a team that is really making a difference.

A Message From Rick Koca "Standing Up"

Children aren't living on the streets, they're dying. By supporting STANDUP FOR KIDS, I'm convinced you will make a difference in your life. . .

National Recognition

Our continuous work with kids has been acknowledged by The White House, JC Penny, etc...

STANDUP FOR KIDS - was selected by the Health Care for the Homeless Information Resource Center (HCHIRC) as an organization serving homeless people. In addition to federal programs and government consultants who work to assist homeless health care providers, we were highlighted as a national organization with information and communication components that coincide with the interests of homeless health care providers.

Out in the Cold

It is estimated that 20-40 percent of all homeless teens are gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgendered. OUT in the Cold is a powerful new documentary that gives a voice to the nameless and faceless teenagers forgotten on the streets of America.
