When researching our Take Action links for
the film Dedicated to My Family we were thrilled to discover
the donation opportunities available on your site. We have
therefore selected your organization as a Take Action link
and all online viewers of Dedicated to My Family will be directed
to your Web site.
Dedicated to My Family is a personal documentary
about a teenage girl who dreams of the perfect family but
after living in a teen shelter has learned that family is
where the heart is. I anticipate that your constituents will
be interested in Dedicated to My Family and we would appreciate
if you link to the Media That Matters Film Festival on your
site. I have included two versions of the Festival banner
below that can act as a button to our film festival. I have
also included a blurb about the Festival that we encourage
you to post on your site and email to your members.
Corporate Accountability, Culture-Jamming, Sustainable Agriculture,
and Civil Liberties: these topics and more are tackled by
Media-Rights fourth annual Media That Matters Film Festival.
Starting May 18th, 2004, the Festival brings high-impact shorts
and take action tools to audiences around the country all
year long. The jury-selected film and video shorts, digital
stories and new media stream online, are broadcast, tour the
country through community screenings, and are distributed
as a jam-packed DVD. The Festival includes the launch of MediaRights'
new media policy initiative, the Just Media Project, connecting
filmmakers and media reformers, www.mediathatmattersfest.org/justmedia.
