"48 Hours on the Street"
Volunteers took to the streets during our annual 48 Hours event. On Friday night we had a buffet-style dinner for the kids. We had a lot of great food thanks to the generous donations from Picante Mexican Grill, Redbones Barbecue, Pizzeria Uno, as well as our volunteers. After dinner and dessert, our volunteers and kids played games and hung out together. On Saturday we took the train up to Salem, MA. While there, we went to the Peabody Essex Museum, had a nice lunch, and went to the arcades at the waterfront. On Sunday we concluded the event with lunch and a trip to Boston's Museum of Science with tickets donated by TD Banknorth. Many thanks to all of our volunteers and generous donors who made the event possible!
