We appreciate the creative ideas that supporters have for helping kids. If you would like to help and are not sure how, the following suggestions are provided:

Financial assistance for Fixed Costs
The Oceanside Educational Resource Center costs the program approximately $600 per month for rent, telephone, utilities and insurance. Your taxable donation will ensure we can pay for this space, which is used to offer Kids counseling and community services referrals to enable them to help themselves get off the street.


Single serving donations of non-perishable foods, such as: 

Breakfast Packs
Individual servings sweetened cereal
V8 juice
Instant breakfast with milk already added or another protein meal
Fruit roll up or another type of nonperishable fruit
Breakfast bar
1 chewable multiple vitamin
5 tums wrapped

Regular Food Packs
Main dish (top ramen type food)
Protein bar
Jello, pudding or fruit cup
Cookies
Chips
Candy Bar
Bottle of water
Bottle of juice
Napkin or packaged wipe
Plastic spoon

Travel Sized hygiene products-can make separate ones for girls and boys or donate individual items
Wash cloth or hand towel
Razor and shaving cream
Toothbrush and toothpaste

Shampoo and conditioner

Feminine hygiene products

Other items
The Kids prefer dark colors and solids rather than prints. Please donate sizes and types of clothes that fit kids 10-20. Most of the Kids are boys but there are many girls.

Rain gear, jackets, hooded sweatshirts, thermals, sweaters and other warm clothes.
Jeans, cords or other pants.

T shirts, boxer shorts, white socks, black socks

Backpacks, blankets, towels, canvas or other materials for keeping out rain.
