Welcome to the Orange County of STANDUP FOR KIDS!

Thank you for taking a few minutes to read about what we are doing in your city to help homeless and street kids.

It is estimated that there are approximately 16,000 homeless children under the age of 18 in Orange County. Depending on the time of the year, there are as many as 10,000 kids living unaccompanied on the streets. We at STANDUP FOR KIDS see this situation as unacceptable, one that must be targeted by the citizens of the community.

Many of these kids, who have runaway from their homes to avoid terrifying environments and physical abuse, see the streets as their only option. Through counseling and support, our efforts enable these kids to eat a meal without having to break the law and to talk with people who do not want anything from them in return. STANDUP FOR KIDS gives unconditional support to those whose daily lives are often more horrendous than most of us could dream.
