STANDUP FOR KIDS – Los Angeles is looking for passionate, hard-working individuals to join our team. We are currently recruiting for the following leadership positions:

Director of Program Support:

• To determine and procure the food, clothing and hygiene products needed to support the program, coordinate food packs drives, hygiene drives and maintain a stock of key outreach items so the program can run for at least 90 days incase of sudden absence of resources.
• Maintain chapter handbook/reference
• Manage storage unit/warehouse/stock of donated goods
• Conduct research & gather statistics
• Maintain chapter wish list
• Document minutes/actions

• Insure all volunteers are acceptable for the program
• Maintains the confidential files on all volunteers
• Insures volunteers receive proper recognition and appreciation
• Insures volunteers attend ongoing training sessions
• Insures volunteers receive performance evaluations
• Insures volunteers are assigned to positions commensurate with their abilities and desires
• Sets up the Interview Sessions
• Insures volunteers comply fully with the Volunteer Manual
• Insures volunteers submit required documents
• Respond to interested potential volunteers via Email/Phone
• Scheduling and coordinating training sessions with Director of Training (contact all potential volunteers from a set list of active & interested people) set up the actual date of training and make sure that any Trainers/Veteran Volunteers involved will be present.
• Keep a log of all interested volunteers, those pending training, those who have been trained (and passed background checks) and finally those ready for outreach
• Once a volunteer is confirmed and ready for outreach put them in touch with the director of outreach immediately so that they may begin as soon as possible helping street kids.
• Always be on the lookout for volunteers interested in leadership positions and notify the Executive Directors of qualified and interested people.
