Thank You!

Thanks to the Charlotte community for coming out to show their support of StandUp For Kids Charlotte at A Way Home’s Homeless Awareness walk on November 17th. A Way Home recorded more people walking this year than any other year, and were able to raise over $14,000! We were thrilled to be a part of the day.

STANDUP FOR KIDS Charlotte was chosen by 7 year old Thomas Fitzpatrick as the beneficiary of his backyard talent show. A few of our volunteers attended the event and were overwhelmed by the generosity of the Lake Shore/Tega Cay community, and touched by Thomas’ idea. The idea that started by Thomas saying, "Mom, we should do something for kids who don’t have the things we have".
Then putting the idea into action by raising $500 for StandUp For Kids Charlotte.
