STANDUP FOR KIDS - New York is hosting a Thanksgiving dinner for homeless kids of the city as a salute to their spirit and resilience, in partnership with the Hartley House.

The dinner will be held on Tuesday November 24 at Harley House 6:30 pm onwards. If you know or come across someone who should be there, please extend an invite from our end.

We welcome your support for this event. We will need donations for food, drinks, plates, spoons etc. Please also go through our wish list and contact us at NewYork@standupforkids.orgto extend a hand.

We are on the streets, once every week to find and help those in need. If you would like to suggest a place we should visit, please drop in a line at NewYork@standupforkids.org.

All new volunteers who wish to attend training should have already attended one of our Information Sessions. After this, you will attend a Basic Training session followed by a Street Outreach Training. Both training sessions are required for those who want to become outreach counselors and join our team. We organized training sessions for our fall volunteers in July – August.

STANDUP FOR KIDS- New York is led by a dynamic and motivated team (you can see some of the names at our local contacts page). Each member brings a wealth of experience to ensure that STANDUP FOR KIDS - New York grows rapidly in New York and fulfill its mission of helping homeless and at-risk youth in the city. We have a wide range of experience from non-profit to media, social work and investment banking. But, we are united by our mission. The leaders help our team of counselors to help homeless youth in our city. STANDUP FOR KIDS- New York is poised for a great year ahead under such fantastic leadership and management.
