Turn Purple - Kanas City
STANDUP FOR KIDS Kansas City is currently working on the Turn Purple campaign in Kansas City. The Turn Purple Campaign is the nations first campaign against child abuse and the resulting problem of youth homelessness. The Hilton President Kansas City is co-sponsoring this initial awareness raising campaign by having every employee wear purple ribbons as well as putting informational brochures and ribbons in every guestroom throuout the month of April.

Turn Purple Product Drive at Hy Vee
On April 15th STANDUP FOR KIDS Kansas City will hold a product and Turn Purple drive at the HyVee in Gladstone from 12pm - 5pm. Come out and see us and learn about STANDUP FOR KIDS and the Turn Purple campaign.

Big Brothers Big Sisters
As a part of National Youth Services Day, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Kansas City will be making care packages and donating them to STANDUP FOR KIDS - Kansas City. These care packages will be filled with food and hygiene items and will be used during Street Outreach activities.
