This is a great opportunity for a team, group of friends, or family to do a one-time volunteer service (4 - 8 people).
Every Sunday, the Denver team coordinates a warm meal for the homeless youth of Colorado. We rely on groups of volunteers to prepare, bring and serve the food. Our turn out of kids on a Sunday is anywhere from 30 to 50, so we ask that enough food is prepared for about 50 people.
Does this sound like something you'd want to help with? It's easy to sign up HERE! After signing up, you will be contacted with additional details.
Every Tuesday evening our Outreach volunteers walk the streets; sometimes we don't find or reach our youth at all, but sometimes we connect-and that is one more kid we can help get off the streets!
THIS is what outreach is about: we find our youth we help, stabilize and most importantly, we CARE.
StandUp For Kids is an all volunteer program, so for us to be there for our homeless kids, we need your help! If you or someone you know is interested in getting involved e-mail us.
Please note that the Denver program doesn't currently have Don't Run Away or Transitional Living programs, or an outreach center.

The Denver chapter of Standup for kids is a 100% volunteer run organization, therefore our overhead is extremely low and almost all of your donations benefit the homeless youth directly.
Our biggest cost center is storage of generously donated goods. We would love to find a donator of free storage space, because donating storage space is tax deductible, however, free space is not easy to find. For now we rent a location to temporarily store the generously donated goods, so financial donations are very welcome too.
If you are interested in donating storage space, please email us at Denver@standupforkids.org.
If you prefer to donate financially, please click below or visit our donate page.
