Our expectations for 2010 continue to be greater than ever! We must continue to be the message, push forward, and insist that children should not have to survive on the streets! We are compelled to accomplish more for "our" kids.
Provide services, at least 60,000 times to homeless and street kids and at-risk youth.
Recruit and Train a minimum of 1,000 volunteers to help reach more homeless and street kids and at-risk youth.
Position Regional Directors to help oversee programs; one in Southern California and one in the Northeast Region.
Position at least three National trainers to help with training and new volunteers.
Start a Don't Run Away Club in an additional 20 High Schools/Colleges.
Start a StandUp For Kids Program in at least 5 new cities. Possibilities are: Nashville, Colorado Springs, Salt Lake City, Pittsburgh, Baton Rouge, New Orleans, San Francisco, Madison, San Bernardino, and Columbia.
Work with our partners Virgin Unite and Virgin Mobile to present a great advocacy program in Washington, D.C.
Start a college scholarship program for homeless and street kids.
Challenge our programs to raise more awareness for National Homeless Youth Awareness Month in November.
A continued expectation that our voices will become more successful in raising awareness of Child Abuse. A case of child abuse is reported every ten seconds.
An expectation that we will add 10,000 people to our national data base and keep them advised of the national efforts to help homeless and street kids.
And finally, an expectation that YOU will commit to do one thing to help homeless and street kids in your community!
