08/01/2010: Switchfoot is a band who, through their annual Bro-Am Festival, has helped the San Diego and Oceanside chapters of StandUp For Kids with both monetary donations and new volunteers. 03/19/2010: Switchfoot has teamed up with bidfire to auction off the chance to record a song with Switchfoot. All proceeds will go to StandUp For Kids. BidFire is a different type of online auction. Users purchase bids for $1 and it only takes a single bid to win. The last bid placed when the auction closes wins. We are estimating the closing price of the auction to be between $5 and $15.
